Blog · Watch/Read

• This post serves as a link to an interview with Cynthia Dunlop for her “Write that blog!” series, where Simon Willison shares his extensive experience and insights on technical blogging.
• The interview covers specific questions such as Willison’s motivations for starting and continuing to blog, the most surprising impact it has had, his most proud and most difficult posts, and general lessons learned.
• Willison’s “number one tip” for blogging is to “lower your standards” and “aim to hit publish while you are still actively unhappy” with the writing, stressing that the alternative is never publishing and that perceived flaws are often invisible to readers.
